RF TEST ENGINEER / HAMPSHIRE / TO £36K

Working for a world leading company, the Lead Electrical RF Engineer will be responsible for preparing, planning & developing the Electrical & RF test phases conducted during the build of a Satellite Communication Payload. To apply for this key role, you must be an accomplished ELECTRICAL RF ENGINEER with skills as follows:
- Proven industry background
- Able to determine & specify Electrical & RF measurements, tests & RF calibration methodologies
- Experienced RF Engineer able to interpret test requirements & produce leading & operational test procedures
- Good understanding of the functionality of communication satellites & communication systems
- Operation of current RF test systems & DC test equipment
The LEAD ELECTRICAL RF ENGINEER will:
* Interface with Payload Design & Systems Engineers for test requirements, test methods, verification methodology & the Test Engineering Group for issues related to provision of Payload Test Equipment, test Software & results analysis tools
* You will own the Payload test plan, flow down of all test procedures, electrical integration & test aid specifications
* The test solution has dependencies on the test requirements & the physical design of the Payload. By analysis a ‘Test Bill Of Materials’ Test BOM is created to control the procurement of all test interfaces & test items required for a specific programme
* Support acceptance & integration process
